thatwasthen live at UCLA Dance Marathon 2011
The UCLA Dance Marathon against Pediatric AIDS was an amazing success. Not only did 2500 students dance (still dancing as we speak) for a great cause, but we got a chance to rock the crowd with a few well known covers such as “Twist and Shout” by The Beatles and “Shout” by the Isley Brothers. Thanks to everyone who came out today.
Storymaker White Van Sessions
We got bored on our way up to San Francisco to play at Kimo’s, so while we were streaming the trip live on thatwasthenmusic.com, we decided to make a video for Storymaker. Our new self-titled album ‘thatwasthen’ will be available on iTunes January 11th, 2011 (1.11.11)
The Final Mastering Session
Scott Walton and I were putting the finishing touches on the album and we decided that we would capture the moment with a live broadcast. Here are the videos we shot. A few people tuned in on Justin.tv and we recorded the last few hours of a 5 month endeavor that resulted in the new album. Thank you to everyone who was involved. There are too many names to list without leaving anyone out.
