In no way belittling to itzhak, and if anything, in honor and praise of twt/brenton… but this got me thinking about how epic the mic-faux pas (i forget the venue) in which the wire kept falling out during the set, and specifically in the middle of ‘girl you don’t have it’ in which a patron at said venue in the front row fiddled with it and tossed the mic back up to the stage, wire newly attached, directly into the clutches of brent’s hands perfectly in time to catch the song’s hook, while the band didn’t miss a beat! majestic. a truly epic moment. but i do indeed agree that most of the time we should expect the unexpected, think on our feet, deal with what we’ve got and thus create our own expectations rather than catering to what the world expects from us. rock.
